My new album will win more awards than I've ever won-Faze

Faze may have been off the scene for a while but he tells Vanguard he is working on an album which would win more awards than ever before..... I’ve been recording my new album which will be out any time soon. I have some collaborations with some of my friends in the industry and you can expect the normal Faze treats. You know I don’t just release albums. I take my time and make sure what I release does not fall short of the standard I have set for myself. I can’t really specify, but I’m sure this new album is going to win more awards than I have ever won. It is loaded with good hits that are sure to take the music scene by storm. Just watch out for it .

Kanye West Serves Epic Shade to Jay Z

Kanye West is perhaps angry that Jay Z didn't attend his wedding to Kim K and is doing his most to get back at his former longtime BFF. During his performance at last weekend's X Games, Mr West left out Jay Z's name from his lyrics on multiple songs. First Kanye dropped Jay's name out of Cold, in the part where he says,"Might have Jay drop you from the team,"in reference to his wife Kim K's second ex-husband Kris Humphries who plays for the Brooklyn Nets, once part-owned by Jay Z. Then he dropped Jay's name from Blood on the Leaves where he says"I don't give a damn if you talk to Jay." This move has been widely interpreted as a slight by fans.

Sad news! Prof. Dora Akunyili has passed on

We've heard rumours of her death a few times before but unfortunately this time it's for real. Former Director General of NAFDAC and former Minister of Information Prof. Dora Akunyili has died. She died in the Indian hospital where she was taken to on May 11 to receive medical treatment after her health deteriorated. Various reliable sources have confirmed her passing. She was only 59. So sad! May her soul rest in peace, Amen.

Lol, Ghana witch doctor says he's responsible for C. Ronaldo's injury

A well known Ghanaian spiritualist named Kwaku Bonsam (pictured above) claims he is responsible for Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury. Last week, the Portuguese striker was diagnosed with tendonitis in his left kneecap area, he also has a muscle problem in his left thigh. Bonsam now claims he used witchcraft to give Ronaldo the muscle problems to prevent him from playing against Ghana in the world cup. Ghana, Portugal, USA and Germany are in Group G. “I said it four months ago, that I will work on Cristiano Ronaldo seriously and rule him out of the World Cup, or at least prevent him from playing against Ghana, and the best thing I can do is to keep him out through injury. I am very serious about it. Last week, I went around looking for four dogs and I got them to be used in manufacturing a special spirit called‘Kahwiri Kapam." The witch doctor said yesterday on Ghanaian radio. i.He says Ronaldo won't be cured in time for the world cup "This injury can never be cured by any medic, they can never see what is causing the injury, because it is spiritual. Last month US returnee and rapper ,Godwon opened up a can of worms when he posted a tweet about Sizu wanted for stealing 300 dollars in the USA..He tweeted... "At your age, you can’t make peace but have time to be thief and make the news… I have been shady but I haven’t been posting pix of two new Mercedes when I need 300 bucks so bad I had to steal." World's Most Expensive Divorce- Owner of Monaco Football Club ordered to pay ex-wife £2.7 BILLION

The owner of Monaco football club has been ordered to pay a world record divorce settlement of more than £2.6 billion to his ex-wife. According to Mail online, Judges in Switzerland said Dmitry Rybolovlev, 47, has to give Elena Rybolovleva, who was with him for 24 years, a very precise 4,020,555,987 Swiss francs and 20 centimes. It follow a six year legal saga in which Mr Rybolovlev, who made his billions through a successful fertiliser business, bitterly contested Ms Rybolovlev’s claims to two of the most expensive properties in the USA and a £100million Greek island. Now Mr Rybolovlev must sign a cheque for the incredible sum in the Swiss city of Geneva, where Ms Rybolovlev lives in a lakeside mansion.

4 Prostitutes Arrested in Lagos for Fighting Over Customer…

four commercial sex workers identified as Joy Morkoha, 37; Blessing Ugbo, 26; Tayo Folarin, 35, and Tina Osakwe, 25, were arraigned before an Itire Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly fighting in public over a customer.
They were charged to court by the Nigerian police for affray and breach of public peace.
The Prosecutor, Insp Ezekiel Ayorinde, told the court that the accused committed the offences on May 14th at their hotel residence Shobowale Street, Ilasa, in Mushin, Lagos.
InspAyorindesaid that the offences contravened the Sections 54 and 166 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
The accused, however, pleaded notguilty.
TheMagistrate, MrsAbegundeDavis, admitted them to bail in the sum of N30, 000 with one surety each.
She adjourned the case till June 16 for substantive trial.

Parents identify 4 abducted girls in Boko Haram video, but most still cannot see their daughters

Four parents of missing Chibok girls are said to have identified their missing daughters in the video released by Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, yesterday. According to Sahara reporters, Mrs Esther Mutali, one of the mothers of the missing girls say some parents of the abducted girls in their community have been able to identify their daughters in the video. According to Madam Esther, those identified include two senior students from Askari Uba Secondary School and Wuyo Secondary School respectively. Both schools are near Chibok. A third girl, whose name was given as “Abdu Hauwa”, has also been identified by her mother. The source added that a fourth girl, Adiza Isah, has also been sighted in the video, making the total of identified girls four. Continue... A Community leader in Chibok, Allan Manessah, however says most parents whom he visited in the community were not able to identify their daughters in the video released yesterday and that he also visited one of the girls who escaped from the boko haram hideout and she could not recognize any of the girls in the video. He says his fear is that the whole video release may be a ploy by Boko Haram leader to divert attention from the security experts pursuing him for the girls release. Meanwhile sources in the Borno state government say the state government has set up a committee headed by the Chibok Local Government Chairman to handle the identification of the girls. The official revealed that the state government plans to assemble the parents of the abducted girls living in Maiduguri and its surrounding areas to watch the video at the Government House today to enable them to identify their daughters.
